We as individuals may develop positive habits which may aid us improve our quality of life. Following are some of the ways we can actually achieve a better lifestyle which of course is closely related to our health.

1. Hydration

We have all heard about the importance of water for our body. The major component forming up around 70% of our body composition is water. From a stable brain function to a radiating, glowing skin it is imperative that we keep ourselves sufficiently hydrated.

There is much debate regarding the benefits and harm of drinking caffeinated drinks like coffee. The most notable argument against coffee consumption is the supposed diuretic properties which may lead to dehydration. Even if we keep this argument aside, sometimes the composition of a coffee results in really high blood sugar levels, for this switch to low sugar variety available. It is not all bad as long as you keep moderation in your consumption. In conclusion, just avoid too much consumption of sugar under the garb of drinking coffee because we often end up loading up on several calories which is undesirable to say the least.

3. Tackle the most difficult task first

If we think about the daya��s work ahead of us it may overwhelm us and we may do more procrastination rather than actually get it done. We need to take one task at a time and focus on it while going about our daya��s work. In addition to this always choose the most disliked task to be tackled first thing in the morning. Once you overcome the task you deemed most difficult first thing in the morning you will get energized for the day ahead and will feel invincible for whatever challenges life throws at you.

This little hue of purple in your greens will work wonders for you as it is rich in B vitamins and a number of anti-oxidants. They are not only good for enhancing brain function but also aid in higher oxygen levels and improved blood supply. There are several ways to consume it either boil it, marinated, boiled and baked. You could even consume it raw by cutting up into small cubes.

5. Maintain a healthy posture

You should take care of the way you sit at your desk especially if you are at your job and required to sit there for long extended hours. Your spine will thank you later. Sitting for extended hours could lead to swelling of feet as a result of congestion of blood in the lower part of body. It also impacts your spine in a negative way and makes you exert a lot more pressure on your back than actually is required.

Make sure your shoulders are not hunched over and you are sitting straight. It is also recommended to take short breaks from your desk and just walk for a couple of minutes to unwind and give your body some much needed stretch and movement.
