March 8th passed recently. Just in case you have been living under a stone all this time and don’t know what March 8th actually is let us enlighten you: it is the International Women’s Day. On this day, the entire world takes time out to pause and celebrate women. And only women.
To quote Golda Meir, an Israeli teacher, kibbutznik, stateswoman, politician and the fourth Prime Minister of Israel, “Whether women are better than men I cannot say – but I can say they are certainly no worse.” It is time that the world stops and takes a long look at the wisdom, perseverance and acknowledge the efforts of women from all over the world.
